Toddlers and kids of all ages love decorating cakes and DD is no exception. As I make cakes with little sugar (always useless than a recipe says) a thin frosting is perfect for sticking decorations on a cake without overloading on sugar.
I make this icing a little extra runny than stated to get a very thin layer that gets poured over the cake. Use less liquid for a thickerconsistency if you prefer to spread on.
The cake DD made me for my birthday.
Ingredients
1/2 cup Icing sugar
1 Tb milk (any vege-based milk of choice works)
drop vanilla essence optional
Instructions
Combine in a bowl till smooth. Spread/pour over cake. Decorate.
