Daily Food Menu 1

We eat three cooked meals a day plus two snacks. At first planning three cooked meals a day was very challenging for someone used to only having to plan one cooked meal as the rest didn’t require any thought – bread/sandwich meal and cereals for breakfast.

Combining that with different dietary needs/requirements was challenging.

Here I´m going to compile a few of our daily food menus for inspiration.

 

Breakfast:

First course:

Second course:

One to two portions of in season fruit

Drinks:

Coffee and/or freshly squeezed orange juice

 

Lunch:

First course:

  • Honey soy chicken drum-sticks with garlic kale and cumin rice
  • Kale chips and broccoli apple mousse for the toddler

Second course:

One or two portions of in season fruit

Drinks:

Water

 

Dinner:

First course:

  • Pan-fried Cod with garlic and cilantro, light salad, served with rye bread

Second course:

One or two portions of in season fruit

Drinks:

Water

 

Snacks:

In season fruit, unsweetened nut bars, raisins, pumpkin muffins

 

Drinks:

Water, Infusions, Matcha tea
