Cinnamon Oat Porridge

Cinamon oat porridgeThis seems to be the favorite breakfast at the moment and a gives lots of energy for a toddler who just wants to run and explore the world. With a touch of cinnamon and vege based milk I find it’s sweet enough on it´s own, but a touch of honey or raw sugar does make it extra delicious.


1 cup almond milk (or any other milk)

3-4 tablespoons rolled oats (I prefer more liquid porridge and go for 3 tablespoons. If you like very solid add more)

1/8 teaspoon cinnamon


Pour milk into a saucepan. Add rolled oats. Sprinkle cinnamon over top. Mix. Bring to boil then simmer gently for 10-15 minutes stirring occasionally.

Serve warm with a little honey or raw sugar.

Her favorite at the moment and she almost always finished her bowl.

NB. It´s only gluten free if you have bought gluten-free oats.
